Introductions

So the desire to start a blog has been on my mind for a couple of years but life happens and sometimes living it is more important than documenting it. I'm a single mom of five kids ranging in age from 5 - 12. Four girls and a handsome young man. I was the girl that dreamed of finding prince charming and then life would be perfect. Well - didn't take long for me to realize that is an unrealistic goal. I was married for 10 years until at the age of 35, I became a widow. This will be my story.

Being in multiple locations

So I'm at work Thursday and all I can think of is how do I manage a baseball game with my 5 yr old and a poetry cafe with the 12 year old......both at the same time??? This doesn't even include what am I supposed to do with the other 3 kids. Usually its not much of a problem...but lately Haley has been being pretty vocal about how the little kids get my attention! UGH!! Thank goodness for friends who support me during times like this. Quick hits - Will won his baseball game and Haley got to read her poem...Her Mom / Her Hero! WOW!!
